Welcome to Optimum Fragrances. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our store and your purchase of our products. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, along with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and Privacy Policy. Please read them before ordering.
1. About Our Products
Optimum Fragrances sells original, house-blended fragrances and fragrance oils. Because our products are crafted in small batches, slight color variations, and presentation may occur between batches — this is a natural characteristic of handcrafted fragrance, not a defect.
Scent is personal and subjective. Product descriptions and scent notes are provided in good faith to help you choose, but how a fragrance smells and wears varies with individual skin chemistry. A scent performing differently on you than described is not grounds for a claim (see our Returns & Refunds Policy).
2. Product Safety & Proper Use
Please use our products as intended:
For external use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Patch test first. Before full use, apply a small amount to your inner forearm and wait 24 hours. Discontinue use immediately if redness, itching, or irritation occurs.
Flammable. Fragrances contain alcohol and/or oils — keep away from open flame, heat sources, and direct sunlight.
Store properly. Keep in a cool, dry place to preserve scent quality.
By purchasing, you acknowledge that fragrance products can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, and you agree to review the listed notes and patch test before use. Optimum Fragrances is not liable for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities resulting from use of our products.
3. Ordering & Our Right to Refuse
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion — including orders that appear fraudulent, orders shipping to addresses we cannot legally serve (see our Shipping Policy), or orders from customers who have engaged in abusive conduct toward our business. If we cancel an order, you will be refunded in full.
4. Pricing & Errors
All prices are listed in US dollars. We work hard to keep pricing accurate, but errors happen. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, or contact you with the corrected price before proceeding. Prices may change at any time without notice; the price at the time you complete checkout is the price you pay. We do not price-match previous prices or promotions.
5. Payment
Payments are processed securely at checkout by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Orders are not confirmed until payment is completed.
6. Shipping, Returns & Privacy
Shipping timelines, costs, and restrictions are governed by our Shipping Policy. Refunds, replacements, and claims are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy. How we handle your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. All three are incorporated into these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content in this store — including our name, logo, fragrance names, formulas and blends, product descriptions, photographs, and site content — is the property of Optimum Fragrances and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, resell under another name, or use our branding, images, or descriptions for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Purchasing a product grants you ownership of that item, not a license to our brand or formulas.
8. Wholesale Inquiries
We welcome wholesale and bulk-order inquiries from retailers and businesses. Wholesale purchases are subject to separate terms, including minimum order quantities and pricing, agreed in writing before the first order. 9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Optimum Fragrances' total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays and failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill orders caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including carrier disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, supply shortages, or government actions. If such an event significantly delays your order, we will communicate with you and, where fulfillment is no longer possible, issue a full refund.
11. Disputes & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first — we resolve nearly everything directly and in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as our shop grows. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. The Terms in effect when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
