Returns & Refunds Policy — Optimum Fragrances

We want you to love what you ordered. Here's exactly how we handle it when something isn't right.

All Sales Are Final — But We Fix Problems

Because perfumes are personal care items and are federally regulated for shipping, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or scent preference. Once a fragrance leaves our hands, it can't be restocked or resold — and hazmat shipping rules make return mailing impractical for buyers.

That said, if anything is wrong with your order, we will make it right. No hassle, no fine print games.

What We Cover

Contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we'll resolve any of the following:

Arrived damaged or leaking — broken bottle, cracked cap, product leaked in transit

Wrong item — you received something different from what you ordered

Missing item — part of your order wasn't in the package

Never arrived — tracking shows lost or undelivered (see our Shipping Policy for lost-package timelines)

How We Fix It — Your Choice

For any covered issue, you pick the resolution:

A free replacement, shipped at no cost to you, or

A full refund to your original payment method

You don't need to mail anything back to us. We may ask you to dispose of a damaged item safely.

What We Need From You

To process your claim, email us within 7 days of delivery with:

Your order number

Photos of the item and the packaging it arrived in (for damage claims)

A quick description of the problem

We'll respond within 1–2 business days with next steps.

Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued right away on our end. Depending on your bank or card issuer, please allow 5–10 business days for the money to appear back on your statement.

What We Can't Cover

Change of mind, or the scent not being what you expected

Items reported more than 7 days after delivery

Damage caused after delivery (drops, heat exposure, etc.)

Orders shipped to an address entered incorrectly at checkout (see our Shipping Policy)

A tip before you buy: fragrance is personal! Check the scent notes in each product description, and feel free to email us questions before ordering — we're happy to help you pick.
