Shipping Policy — Optimum Fragrances

Thank you for shopping with Optimum Fragrances! We want your order to arrive safely and without surprises, so here's exactly how our shipping works.

Processing Time

Every order is carefully prepared and packed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

Shipping Rates

$5.95 flat rate, plus $1.00 for each additional item

Rates are shown at checkout before you pay — no hidden fees.

Delivery Time

Orders ship via USPS or UPS ground service and typically arrive within 5–10 business days after shipping. Most orders arrive sooner, but please allow the full window — we ship from Arizona, so delivery to the East Coast can take a few extra days.

Why Ground Shipping Only?

Perfumes contain alcohol and are federally classified as a limited-quantity hazardous material. By law, they must ship by ground service only — no air shipping, no expedited or overnight delivery, no exceptions. This keeps your order compliant and safe in transit.

For this reason, we currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States only. We're unable to ship internationally or to Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Packaging

Every bottle is wrapped in protective padding and sealed to guard against breakage and leaks. Your fragrance is packed like it matters — because it does.

Tracking

Every order includes a tracking number, emailed to you when your package ships. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking to update after you receive it.

Delays

Occasionally carriers experience delays due to weather or high volume. If your tracking hasn't updated in 5 business days, reach out and we'll look into it right away.

Lost Packages

If your package hasn't arrived within 15 business days of shipping, contact us and we'll file a claim with the carrier and work with you on a replacement or refund.

Damaged or Leaking Items

We pack carefully, but accidents happen. If your order arrives damaged or leaking, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund.

Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, we're happy to reship it, but a new shipping fee will apply. Packages delivered to an incorrectly entered address cannot be refunded.

Holiday Seasons

During peak seasons (November–December), processing may take an extra 1–2 business days, and carriers may run slower than usual. Order early for holiday gifts!
